Cache Valley Gardener's Market

Our flowers are available every Saturday at the Cache Valley Gardener's Market at Willow Park in Logan!  We are there from nine until one, and offer our most colorful bouquets cut fresh that morning.  We also offer bunches of straight flowers that are in bloom that week.
It's August now, so people were loving the sunflower bunches last Saturday.  The local bees were also loving them!  Come visit the market every Saturday morning..lot's of great and unique vendors!

Green Zinnia

A new flower I'm trying this year, is the green zinnia. This color is in demand right now, and I've been excited about using these in arrangements. This combo has been a hit at market this year as well!

Hoop House

Our big project on the farm this year was to get our hoophouse installed.  It was a big job, and took up most of our May and June.  Thankfully, I have an incredible husband who spent many hours getting this all put together.  My job was to read the directions (very important), and to get the seeds planted inside the hoophouse so we could have flowers by August.

Zinnia Zoo

The zinnia's are out..and they are everywhere.  The hoophouse is full of them, and our garden has zinnia's lining the paths, behind the beans, and shooting up where they really shouldn't be.  But I guess that's what happens, when little hands help spread last year's dried seed.
The variety of color is what makes these little guys so cheerful.  They are summer all wrapped up in one flower!

Edible Color

These petite little things are nasturtium.  They are popping up in the orchard garden, right behind the lettuce and spinach.  Perfect..because these babies are edible.  So cute and delicious!  Honestly, they taste peppery..so not exactly delicious.  But a really fun addition to the summer salad.
And it was a good excuse to use this little cow.  Thanks to my sis for an amazing birthday present!

Pink Peonys

The pink peony!   It may be summertime, but this color is great at anytime!
These were planted in our yard years before we lived here, and I've fallen in love with this pink...the color is so vibrant!  It really helps brighten things up in Spring, after a long Utah winter.
Of course, they are long gone by now.  If only they bloomed all summer long!
